
Marzieh
Marzieh Gholami was born in Iran and after spending an exciting and lively experiences of childhood and adolescence in Tehran, with the acquaintance and reliance on the love of geometry and mathematics in the year 2000 she began to be an architecture student in Iran universities. She was pursuing her education till she received her master’s degree. After presenting her master’s thesis on cyberspace in 2008 and after two years of professional work as an architect, to discover new and tangible worlds in the field of digital and parametric architecture design, she attends the Anhalt University and summer school of Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany. Studying at these universities introduced her to new methods for changing the boundaries of architectural design and she won the 2011 University Design Award.
Simultaneously with starting her doctorate at Humboldt University of Berlin, she started her professional cooperation with the Cultural Spaces Development Company for large and national projects in Tehran, such as the Book Garden, Tehran Theater Complex, and ministry of interior Hall. With the growth of interest in her professional work, she quitted her doctoral studies and to understand the professional world of architecture in Europe, she started working with different offices from 2018 in Germany.
Finally, expanding her knowledge of the global professional market and visiting various art exhibitions in Europe and the United States, in 2022 Marzieh decided to establish the “I Am” art group in Frankfurt with her colleague (Co-founder). To define a new relationship between the artist and the gallery by holding various art exhibitions in the form of pop-up galleries and exhibitions, and to give the contemporary artists more creative freedom to present and introduce their works in dialogue with the contemporary world in the international arena. An opportunity to take a step towards depicting a world without borders.
